I'm interested in reproducing the same image in various media; for example, "Transit Demons" in stained glass, intaglio print and needle felting.
Other themes I've recently worked on, are "Marbles & Shells", and "Bottled People". These have been studies in representing transparent glass and reflections in acrylic medium, trying to develop these themes more towards abstraction.
I like using materials from thrift stores, glass bottles as still life models, old metal frames for mounting, re-purposed canvas and discarded fibres for wall hangings & rugs.
Environmentally friendly oil painting is my next project. I want to get away from acrylic which is essentially liquid plastic.
