Dagmar Crawford
Costume Jewellery, Painting and Photography
Dagmar Crawford has always found joy in creating, whether through jewellery, photography, or painting. After developing Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) following major surgery in 2014, she faced daily challenges that put her artistic journey on pause. With resilience, determination, and ongoing physiotherapy, she has returned to her passion for art, transforming both her experiences and inspirations into unique works of beauty. Based in Goderich, Ontario—named by Chatelaine Magazine as one of Canada’s prettiest towns and celebrated for its sunsets on Lake Huron—Dagmar finds endless inspiration in her surroundings. Often referred to as a photographer’s paradise, Goderich provides the backdrop for much of her creative energy.
Her jewellery designs draw from silver-plated metal spacers, heart motifs, semi-precious stones, and even glass pieces washed ashore, which she transforms into meaningful creations. She also explores the interplay of colour and form through acrylic and resin pieces. Dagmar’s work has travelled around the world, finding homes in Wales, England, Belgium, Mexico, Cuba, Holland, and Ecuador. In addition to her original designs, Dagmar welcomes custom orders--
perfect for brides, bridesmaids, families, and friends looking for a unique way to celebrate connections or capture meaningful moments
together.
